Password Reset on Okta

Go to Samuelmerritt.okta.com and enter your username and click “Next”
It will automatically take you to MFA, please click on “Verify with something else”
In here click on “select“ next to password
From the above screen click on “Forgot Password”
This step will send you a password reset link to your Samuel Merritt email account once you click on “Send me an email”.
(If you don't have access to your email please call 510-907-2555 option 1 for further assistance.)
Now go to your Samuel Merritt email inbox and look for Okta password reset email. Once you have the email click on Reset Password.
Password reset email looks like this picture. Now to reset password you should click on “Reset Password” button from the email.
Once you click on reset Password it will take you to this screen, you have to enter new password and re-enter password again.
Once you enter new password you have to verify if it’s you who performed the password reset for that you have to go through with the MFA with Oka Verify.

You can choose get a push notification, click select next to it.
After performing MFA from previous step you have to click “yes, it’s me” on the Okta verify app.
