How to use Okta Verify App in Windows

Open Okta Verity App in your computer and click “Get Started”
Click “Next” after reading the instructions displayed
Enter samuelmerritt.okta.com in new account and click “next”
After last step it will redirect you to browser, follow the instructions from browser.
In the browser enter username you want to add and click “Next”
Perform MFA to verify your identity, if MFA not configured just enter password
Once your identity is verified, in the same browser it says “your identity is verified”. At this point you may close this browser and continue in Okta verity desktop app for further configurations.
This step is optional, here you can configure Windows Hello to verify your identity. You may choose “Not Now”
Your account has been added successfully to Okta Verify Desktop app
Now we can test the functionality. Login to samuelmerritt.okta.com with your username and click “Next”
Now click “Select” next to “Use Okta FastPass”
This will send a push notification to Okta Verify desktop app.
This message will pop up on Okta Verify Desktop app, click “Yes, it’s me” if you are performing a login
Enter your password and click “verify” this should let you into the Okta dashboard.
