For regular current students and faculty/staff who access UpToDate and Lexidrug (formerly called Lexicomp):
1) MySMU. On the web, on any device, use the icon in mysmu apps and sign in with your SMU account to get access.
2) Apps. To have access through the mobile app, first do Step 1) above. Then click "Register" and create an account, you can use your SMU email and password but this is separate for the app. Use that separate account to log into the app. This will associate you with SMU access since you already did step 1) above and signed in with your SMU account.
Lexidrug instructions to access on mobile device:
Users can click the "Mobile Access Codes" button on the UpToDate Lexidrug home page to access this new access code. This button will direct users to select their mobile platform (iOS or Android). Once they make that selection, they will see the new mobile code and instructions for applying that code to their account. An important note about this code: It does have a domain restriction attached to it, meaning only users using a Samuel Merritt email address will be able to activate it.
3) Every 3 months, to keep your app access with the second account, you will get an email asking to re-authenticate through mysmu. This will keep your app access in place.
