Connecting to Cisco VPN

  • Connect to smu_lawn_wifi (on campus) or your home Wifi network.
  • Launch the Cisco VPN application. (ie Cisco Anyconnect, Cisco Secure Client)
  • For on campus (Oakland main campus) input 10.24.175.12 for the connection and click Connect
  • For off campus (Oakland Webster, SFPC, Sacramento, Fresno) input sslvpn.samuelmerritt.edu and click Connect

NOTE:

  • On the sign in page, you'll need to choose smu-emp-oakland
  • You may need to change the VPN settings to disable (uncheck) 'Block Connections to untrusted servers'.
