How To Set Up SMU Email on an iPhone

Please follow these steps to setup your SMU email on your iPhone.

*Note the recommended set up method for all mobile phones is to use the Microsoft Outlook app.  Download, add work or school account, and use your SMU email address.

1. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account
2. Choose Microsoft Exchange
3. Enter in your SMU email address
4. Enter the description (ie. SMU)
5. Click Next (If you get an error message stating "Unable to verify account information", then try to disconnect from Wifi and use only your cellular signal.)
6. Click Sign in
7. Sign in with your SMU username and password. *Be sure not to use your full email address as your username*
8. Choose what you want to sync to your phone.
9. Click Save.
