If a student calls saying they cannot open lockdown browser because it says screencastify must be removed/uninstalled first
- Check that the extension is removed from the existing signed in profile on the google chrome browser. If found, remove extension.
If it is not found there:
1) Click the profile icon in the browser and see if others are listed.
2) Click the gear icon to view all profiles signed in on the browser.
3) Check each profile by clicking on each and then seeing if the extension is showing on that profile. If so, either
1) Go back to the profiles list and delete the profile, or
2) Go to the extensions and delete the extension on that profile and try again.
