Search for FortiClient VPN from start menu –
For Windows Click start and search for FortiClient VPN once you find it click on FortiClient VPN.
For MAC open Finder and search for FortiClient then open FortiClient
Once you open FortiClient VPN it will ask to accept the license agreement, and the below screen will be displayed – Click connect to connect to VPN
After you click connect it will take you to Okta to satisfy the Multifactor authentication –
Enter SMU Username and password and click next to finish the MFA part.
After finishing the MFA you’re now connected to SMU’s Virtual Private Network
To disconnect from VPN simply click on Disconnect.
