We’re excited to announce that Universal Print, a new cloud-based printing service from Microsoft, is being rolled out across all SMU campuses!
Universal Print is a new cloud-based printing service from Microsoft that allows you to securely print wirelessly. It offers greater flexibility and convenience whether you’re working on campus or remotely.
What This Means for You
- You now have the option to print using Universal Print, which provides a seamless experience across all devices and locations.
- As part of our upcoming move to the City Center Campus, all users will transition to Universal Print as the standard printing method starting January 5th. We encourage you to start familiarizing yourself with Universal Print now to ensure a smooth transition as it is available.
Deployment Schedule
- Fresno & Sacramento Campuses: Go-live on October 27, 2025
- San Francisco Peninsula & Oakland Campus: Go-live on November 3, 2025
