Barracuda Message Archiver is our application which automatically archives your received and sent emails. It's a tool used for recovering lost or past emails.
To access your archived emails, please sign into mySMU.
Then click open on the Barracuda Message Archiver tile located in the communications category.
Enter your SMU email address and click next
Once you log in you are directed to the search page. Here’s a quick rundown of how to perform a search.
Select the advanced function (1) - The tool is most effective using the advanced.
Hint: Adding multiple criteria will deliver targeted results and run faster, i.e., restrict by date, and by who.
(2) - Click Resend to Me and your messages are delivered right back to your inbox.
(3) - Saved Searches is also quite helpful as you can come back and locate the same messages once again.
