Workday/Adaptive Planning OfficeConnect Add-on for Microsoft Office/Excel

 

Installing OfficeConnect

  1. To install OfficeConnect, access the Software Center and search for “OfficeConnect”

  2. Choose the item labeled “Workday OfficeConnect” and click install.

 

Logging into Adaptive Planning with Office Connect

  1. Click on “OfficeConnect” on the ribbon and then “Log In”

  2. At the login screen, click on “Log in with Workday”

  3. Fill in the fields as shown and then click “Save” and “Close” Name: could be any name, we recommend using “SMU-PROD”

  4. API endpoint URL: https://services1.myworkday.com/ccx/api/v1/samuelmerritt

    Authorization endpoint URL: https://www.myworkday.com/samuelmerritt/authorize

  5. Office Connect will now show the mySMU / Okta login prompt. Log into Okta using your regular SMU username and password.

  6. You are now connected.
